IAW Consulting Engineers Ltd. is a Chartered Civil and Structural engineering consulting firm providing design services to the construction industry. We offer a comprehensive range of civil and structural engineering design services. Our team work together to provide delivery of complex engineering projects.
We have built a reputation for delivering a first-class service for all commissions, regardless of scale. A focus on deliverability, added value, and attention to detail are gained from the combined experience of our team. IAW Consulting was founded by Iftekhar Waseem in 2020, and has grown from strength to strength. Our expertise in structural engineering design ranges from complex multi-use development schemes to smaller bespoke projects. Working with clients across a number of sectors our main objective is to provide good engineering design, with a clear structural logic to them.
We believe our role as Civil & Structural Engineers on any design project is to be part of the design team from day one, and to work with the design team to deliver a solution which is appropriate, not only technically but also commercially and sustainably. We understand that the engineering design accounts for a considerable portion of the budget and it is our aim to provide efficient solutions for it. We ensure that each design we are involved in is bespoke to the site and in particular, regardless of when dealing with new build and refurbishment projects, the buildability of the solution is the key driver. We focus on client satisfaction through delivering commercially aware and creative design solutions.
About us
Iftekhar is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Masters Degree in Structural Engineering from City University, London, and a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Bangalore University, India. He is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He has 19 years’ experience in the construction industry in UK & abroad working on multi-disciplinary design teams providing engineering, management, operations, and construction services, working on small, medium, and large scale projects.
He has a track record of designing and managing complex projects for global multinational organizations in Civil Infrastructure, Residential, Education, Commercial & Retail sectors.
He has extensive experience in leading engineering teams for projects delivering projects up to £20 million both nationally and abroad.
